Class 202 welcomed “egg babies” into their lives on December 5, 2017.

The students designed their own egg babies, created birth announcements and carrying devices. As part of the project, students also kept a daily journal.

Responsibility and caring for the welfare of another were key tenants of the lesson. The students had to keep the eggs safe from Tuesday through the end of school Thursday. They had to bring their babies to all classes and safely transport them home and back to school each day.

The students enjoyed adding the egg babies into their daily routines. One student even made a short video with the baby. All babies were accounted for at the end of the project.
