The students in the 21st Century Lifestyles and Careers classes have been very busy learning about commerce, supply and demand, money management, team work, communication and social skills through various projects around the school.

Our teachers can now order lunch and have it delivered to them by our students. Chocolate chip cookies are baked by our 10th grade class and sold to the staff as a fundraiser for various Calais activities. Our Recycle Program is in full operation-recycle containers have been constructed and placed in the classrooms for all to use. When you are in the gym be sure to check out the bulletin board the students created to show their tremendous school spirit for the Calais Basketball Team, as well as the Calais Cheer Squad.

Finally, some of our students have been doing projects with Ms. Grey’s class including creating tee shirts to show their pride in attaining Platinum Status. Ms. Grey’s class always welcomes our 21st Century students who often stop by to read stories to our elementary school students.
