The Calais School and Staff are looking forward to a wonderful and successful 2018-2019 school year!

This year marks The Calais School’s 48th year of providing special needs students with the therapeutic and academic services needed to achieve personal and academic success. Helping our children exceed their possibilities is our goal…

Exceeding possibilities is possible when stakeholders (faculty, parents, friends, donors and students of Calais) are invested in the program and work together as a team.

Together, as we embark on another school year we ask you to keep in mind that while The Calais School does provide our community outstanding faculty, staff and administration….we are still a small, nonprofit institution with limited available resources from the state and we need the help of ALL stakeholders to bridge the gap between covered cost of tuition and the actual cost of a Calais Education. This includes more after school programs, field trips, service dogs, consulting psychiatry, counseling resource center teachers, instruments for the band, work study stipend and technology.

As stakeholders you are in a pivotal position that allows you to get involved at The Calais school on a level that can have a direct impact on the student experience. We encourage you to seize this unique opportunity and serve as an ambassador for The Calais School. Consider joining the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), volunteering your time throughout the school year or supporting the fundraising efforts of the Calais Foundation.

We look forward to seeing our students on September 6th!
