St. Peter’s Thrift Shop is a tiny shop run by volunteers. It is located at the side of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. They sell all sorts of items at surprisingly low prices from movies to antique vases, and fashionable blouses!

Their mission is to sell clothes to those struggling with money and financial issues and victims of a fire or natural disaster. Every day they contribute to the community by donating to other organizations to help the needy, being there for others, and listening to their stories, and commit themselves to helping the environment by reducing waste in landfills and recycling.

Every Thursday, interns at The Calais School help out at the shop. They work hard on tasks that include organizing clothing by size at the racks and checking board games for all their pieces so they can be priced for resale. Volunteers also work with the interns on communication and creating a thriving team. SO far, the students are having tons of fun, while at the same time gaining work experience and using their skills?

All of the items they market are donated by the community, and even you can donate old or unused items around your house. Located at 94 E. Mount Pleasant Ave, in Livingston, they accept donations 24/7 at the door, except from 2 pm Mondays to 10 am Tuesdays.

It’s a great place to look for an amazing deal and shop ’til you drop! If you like buying off-price deals and love to shop, them come on down to St. Peter’s!
