The Calais Foundation is celebrating the 50th birthday of the Calais School with a special $50,0000 fundraiser.

And as we kick off our 50th year of Calais, we are asking our supporters to join in our campaign. Help us mark 50 years of finding the best methods to educate special needs students, 50 years of developing state of the art programs and 50 years of helping young minds gain confidence and job skills and reach their fullest potential in life! The Calais Foundation empowers children with serious learning disabilities and socialization challenges to reach their fullest potential in life.

We are requesting our supporters to join our virtual campaign and help The Calais Foundation raise $50,000 to provide the best educational resources for students with learning disabilities and behavioral challenges.

Please note that your donation will directly support innovative programming at the school including the Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) Therapies, workshops for parents of special needs students, student internship stipends enabling students to gain job skills and COVID emergency support for special education students and their families including important counseling for families to help them deal with the stress of the pandemic.

Please consider making a difference for these children who look forward to coming to school to work with an Animal Assisted Interventions dog or get out into the community to enjoy an internship and gain valuable work experience. Your donation could change a child’s life.
