Registration is now open for the Calais Foundation 2nd Annual 5K Charity Race on Sunday, October 15th, 2023. Join The Calais Foundation as we race to raise $50,000 to empower children and young adults with disabilities and sustain essential programs and services for students at The Calais School. 

The 5K Charity Race is scheduled to begin at the Calais School campus located 45 Highland Place, Whippany, NJ at 8:30 am and continues throughout the local residential neighborhood on a clearly marked, USATF sanctioned 3.1 mile Grand Prix route. 

“Our debut 5k last October was an overwhelmingly positive and inspirational experience, bringing the special needs community together. From Calais faculty, staff, students and families to Calais Alumni and friends, I loved seeing the camaraderie and hope to see even more of it at this year’s race!” Said Calais School Executive Director John Cohrs.

You can also make a difference for students with disabilities by becoming a Calais 5K Sponsor. There are many sponsorship opportunities available for the 2023 5K. Registration is $35 per participant and includes a t-shirt. Sign up by July 31 for a special early bird $10 discount.
