So far, the 2024-2025 school year has been full of exciting events and memories!

Back in the Fall, we welcomed Calais families, faculty, staff, and friends at our Annual Calais Family Fun Day, which allowed families to connect with each other and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon. Soon after, Calais students kicked-off the holiday season with compassion and determination by collecting over three tons of food donations for our Annual “Stuff the Bus” Food Drive. Before leaving for winter break, we hit a high note with a heartwarming choir and band performance and our school-wide winter door decorating contest.

Now that it’s January and we are settling back into our routines, we have so much to look forward to, including field trips, a Valentine’s Day dance, enriching class activities, and, of course, our Annual Chili Cook-Off! We ask that you please save the date for the Calais Foundation Annual Gala on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 at the Hanover Manor in East Hanover, NJ. Tickets go on sale later this year. 

Finally, on behalf of the entire Calais Administration, I’d like to extend a special thanks to all the families and friends of Calais who helped us raise $4,000 during The Calais Foundation’s year-end appeal. This funding will have a direct impact on our students!
