Claire, one of our elementary students, recently participated in a Birthday Cake Box Drive through her Girl Scout troop. The sweet treat food drive benefited Grace’s Food Pantry to help supply families in need with the necessary and sometimes expensive ingredients for baking birthday cakes.

To show support for Claire’s troop and this great cause, posters were hung around the school with more information about the drive, and collection boxes were placed in the teachers’ lounge and the gym. Faculty and staff did their part to help collect boxed cake mix and other birthday cake decorating supplies like frosting, sprinkles, and candles.

Everyone was so inspired by Claire’s compassion and desire to help others in her community!
