Student Artwork Auctioned Off at Merlin’s Kids Benefit

Some of our Calais students volunteered their artwork for the auction to benefit Merlin’s Kids. Their artwork was auctioned off at the Vegas and Vino Casino Night Fundraiser Dinner on May 16th at Forsgate Country Club. Students designed and hand-painted colorful tote bags with a “Service Dog” theme.

Ms. Butler and Cali brought the bags to the fundraiser, where they were auctioned off. The students did an amazing job and the bags were a big hit at the dinner. Proceeds will benefit Merlin’s Kids, who provide service dogs like Cali free of charge to the families they benefit. The money Merlin’s Kids made on Friday will be used for housing, food, supplies, travel costs and medical care for the dogs they rescue and train.
