The Calais School hosted their first home basketball of the year against The Craig School. The Craig School were formidable opponents and who came into the game undefeated.  After a game that went back and forth and had many lead changes, The Calais School won the game 32-23!

 

Team captain Adam lead all scorers with 22 points, Andrew scored 8 points. and Jillian chipped with a basket as well. With all the great baskets we had, it required the rest of the team to set screens and carry out the playbook to get our shooters open. Players like Justin, Anthony, and Josiah stepped up to the occasion to set good screens and rebound to help the team win the game. Our team has many goals this year, and we have accomplished some of those goals in our first two games of the season.

The Cougars face Banyan tomorrow. Go Cougars!
