The Calais School has improved to 2-1 on the season! Calais scored a season-high 38 points and allowed a season-low 16 points as it defeated Banyan on Wednesday. Going into the game, Coach Femia and the team looked at their list of season-long goals and decided they would focus on trying to get at least 10 out of 12 players to score a basket. This strategy focused on teamwork and more passing.

Coach Femia shared,

The team took the goal and exceeded my expectations, every single player on our team was able to score a basket. The last time our team was able to accomplish this goal was three years ago! It took a lot of hard work and our team is to be commended for working together. I would also like to say a special thank you to Anthony and Jonathan for keeping our stats.

He shared our team’s stats for the game:

Adam- 6 Points

Andrew- 4 Points

Justin S- 2 Points

Justin W- 2 Points

Oscar- 3 Points

Joy- 2 Points

Matt- 2 Points

Jillian- 2 Points

Symohnie- 2 Points

Michael- 2 Points

Anthony- 3 Points

We are all so proud of the team’s hard work. We look forward to their game this Wednesday!
