Calais has ‘a Minion’ Reasons to Smile and Celebrate Halloween!

Our Halloween festivities this year did not disappoint. Calais School students and staff enjoyed a day of fun and friendship. Service dogs Cali Ridgeback and Cleo Beagle greeted students with Ms. Butler, Mrs. Ferment, and Ms. Geise.

Our staff members surprised the students with their Despicable Me minions group costume!

After lunch, students donned their costumes for our annual Halloween parade. It was a beautiful day to march around the Calais School and show off our costumes!

Then students showed off their costumes in classroom parties. Can you spot a Ghostbuster and a smiling Darth Vader anywhere?

High school students were busy planning the Halloween dance this week. They finally got to enjoy their hard work with a mummy wrapping contest, snacks, and plenty of dancing.
