On Thursday, May 24th the Calais Upperclassman were dressed to the nines at the Hanover Manor to celebrate their Prom. The students spent an “Evening in Paris” which involved a formal dinner and dancing.

The prom committee did a great job with the décor which included ornate center pieces and a photo booth backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. The seniors made quite an entrance as they were each announced and greeted with and a standing ovation. In true Parisian form everyone was looking chic and sophisticated, some even wearing top hats.

Powerhouse DJ’s kept the party going as students showed off their dance moves. The DJ also kept things entertaining with fun giveaways like glow sticks and mini tambourines.  When students weren’t dancing, which wasn’t often, they were posing for pictures at the photo booth and enjoying the gift bags which were put together by Mrs. Vitaletti.

The students weren’t the only ones have fun, our Assistant Principal Mr. Sokolewicz was out on the dance floor along with some of the other volunteer staff in attendance. It was a great night filled with great pics and memories for everyone involved!

Congrats again to our seniors!
